SCOPE OF WORK

1. Provide and install the electrical specifications specify complete systems. Include all labour and material required to make them so.
2. The intent is to provide the Owner complete systems and while no attempt has been made to detail or list each individual part required, include all parts and furnish all labour reasonably implied by these documents in order to deliver to the Owner the complete systems ready for operation.
3. Plans and specifications augment each other, and any item reasonably implied in one but omitted in the other is interpreted as sufficiently covered and must be provided.
4. Furnish all required labour and materials, machinery, scaffolding, tools, implements, or other appliances together will all proper and required facilities for moving and transporting same, so that the contract and all work to be done under it, can and will be carried on in a workmanlike manner, properly, satisfactorily, continuously, and expeditiously, to completion, in all respects, to the satisfaction of the Owner.
5. The general scope of work includes the following:

• Fire stopping of any openings in fire compartments caused by the passage of electrical conduits, wiring, etc.
• Supply and install new Automatic Transfer Switches.
• Enough fuel capacity to run 24 hours at full load
• Modifications to existing electrical power distribution system to incorporate new generator, transfer switches, etc.
• Commissioning as per CSA 282 (latest Edition)
• Full load test of generator.        
• TSSA inspection.
• Grounding
• Payments for all permits, deposits, inspection, service, and other fees necessary for the work shall be included in the tender and is the responsibility of the proponent.
• It is the proponent’s responsibility to submit upon completion a formal certificate of completion and warranty details.
• Preparation and supply of all as-built drawings before receipt of the final payment for the work.
• Preparation and supply of maintenance and operation manuals before receipt of the final payment for the work.
• Training for all Public Works staff regarding the safe operation and maintenance of generator and associated hardware
